Who On Earth Would Want To Run 50 Km Races? Interview With Ultra Runner Alex Bridgeforth

By admin

I have been dancing in my chair to share this interview with you! I had the opportunity to sit down with a fellow fitfluential ambassador last week and talk all things running and nutrition.

Alex Bridgeforth is an Lieutenant in the US army and the blogger behind Running Addiction and he also happens to be training for a 50 Km race.

Oh and did I mention he’s vegan too?

I wanted to talk about running, especially such long distances while living off a plant based diet (it’s still on my mind from finishing up Eat and Run). What is his training like, what foods does he eat while running, what’s it like to eat 12 peaches for lunch?

Yes, he eats nothing but peaches for lunch, but is it helping him or hurting him? Gotta watch!

What he shares is definitely worth listening to.

Check out the interview and then give Alex some love below for taking the time away from his training (he was getting ready to run before I google chatted him) to talk with me!
